The research results presented in our laboratory in the spring of 2024 were subsequently introduced in an article in the Yomiuri Shimbun titled “Realizing Flood Risk: Promoting Early Evacuation.” The article was then used in the 2025 entrance exam (essay) for the Faculty of Informatics, The University of Fukuchiyama, and is now available to the public.
Although prior approval of the parties concerned is generally not required for the use of the article as an entrance examination question, approval may be requested when the article is published as a past question. In this case, we have received a polite notice in advance.
We are very honored to be able to use this information in this way. We hope that this article will help to deepen interest in disasters and information and information technology (AR) for prospective students.
