Abstract: In the field of aerial photogrammetry, the automatic generation of 3D urban surface models from aerial images of wide area has been developing. This means that, we can easily get more 3D urban surface models of wide area and, moreover, it is very important to be able to see the data more effortlessly and intuitively. So we have developed visualizing tools for large 3D urban surface models. In this paper, firstly, we demonstrate that we have developed the mixed reality (a kind of ultra-realistic technology) system which can be operated to zoom in, zoom out and to change layers by the user motion. Secondly, we applied Building Information Modeling (BIM) data to this system and conformed that it seamlessly works between BIM and 3D urban model.
