Abstract: Application of information model based on open data schema has decided advantages such as data reusability and permanence in a information management perspective. The aim of this study was to propose a basic framework and process to manage the flood-related damage information using CityGML-based city information model effectively. the facilities were classified to build city information model for disaster prevention according to the concepts needed to draw proper attributes. In addition, the element generation method with its attributes was studied, considering integration and interoperability of object information. Finally, the authors investigated the consistency and reusability of information included in implementing model through applying the flooded status for calculating the human damages.
